Gustavo Jobim was born in 1982 in Rio de Janeiro and has been releasing music albums and videos for more than two decades. Jobim's style is influenced by the electronic music of the 1970s and 1980s. The composer also draws inspiration from painting, poetry and videogames. Jobim has collaborated with various labels in Brazil, especially Sinewave. In 2018 Jobim was awarded Best Original Soundtrack for the work on "Os Príncipes", an indie film by Luiz Rosemberg Filho.
