Volker Rapp

Volker Rapp is a musician born in Wuppertal, Germany. In the 70's he learned to play accordion and later classical guitar. In the 80's various engagements as guitarist or keyboardist, being a DX7 his first synthesizer. In the late 80's, he programmed tracks with Roland's SYS-553 sequencer software for the S-550 sampler. In 1994 he released his first CD "Seven Pillars of Wisdom Vol. 1", and since then gave concerts in unconventional venues like Wuppertal's Schwebebahn, exhibition Body Worlds, Castles, Gasometer, or invitations like for example the 1st Vangelis Fan Convention in London.
Among his activities in the artistic scene is the composition of music for films. Lately he gave a series of concerts in several planetariums in Germany.
