I've been making electronic music since 1979, when I bought a Wasp synthesizer to aid recording song demos. Inspired by Mike Oldfield and Jean-Michel Jarre to record complete compositions by myself using "sound on sound", I bought an 8-track and started recording instrumental music. The "do-it-yourself" cassette aesthetic in the aftermath of punk made it easy to release music and I became active on the UK EM scene, releasing several albums also with the help of MixMusic (John Palmer) and Clive Littlewood (Electronical Dreams). Career demands including emigrating to Germany put a hold on music-making for over 30 years! Interest in my music, including the release of a double-LP retrospective "The Atmosphere Factory" in 2018, encouraged me to get back into music making and since 2023 I have since released around 40 albums.
